Education

Dr. Thompson joined Eye Care & Surgery in 2003 after completing his college, medical school, and ophthalmology training at the University of Virginia. He is a native of Roanoke and attended Roanoke Catholic School.

Background

Dr. Thompson and his wife, Beni, have 5 children. Outside of work, their family are active members of OLPH Catholic Church in Salem and are active volunteers at Roanoke Catholic School. Dr. Thompson enjoys playing in the Roanoke Adult Soccer League and playing golf.
