Background

The opportunity to work with exciting new technologies to perform complex microsurgery is one of the primary reasons he chose Ophthalmology. These rapidly advancing technologies, in the hands of well-trained eye surgeons, can be sight-restoring and sight-saving.

“That opportunity to make a difference in my patient’s lives is why I come to work each day.”

Outside of work, Dr. Strelow enjoys a wide variety of pastimes outside of work, ranging from just about anything he can participate in with his wife and children. He loves to explore new places, whether hiking a mountain or walking a city’s streets. He enjoys playing athletics from tennis to basketball. And enjoys less high-energy hobbies like tinkering with new technology or playing strategy board games.
